HEALTH CARE

Today We live in a welfare society with good finances and good health care. So what is the reason that so many get sick, or that so many get a poor quality of life due to undefined health problems.

Many people struggle with serious diseases such as cardiovascular disease, high blood pressure, diabetes and cancer. Even more people struggle with pain and other medical problems that impact their life negative.

Pain in muscles and joints, various inflammatory diseases, lack of energy, weight problems, skin problems, allergies, digestive problems such as constipation and diarrhea in addition to mental imbalances

More medicines are being used today than ever before.

Today we eat mostly industrial and processed food. This food often contains little nutrition, and have long ingredient lists with names we do not understand.

Fruits and vegetables are heavely sprayed  with pesticides. The use of pesticides and fertilizers leads to poor soil quality. Plants that grow in nutrient-poor soil can never be more nutritious than the soil in which they grow.

Meat, fish and cattle production has become a large industry with large facilities - often with poor animal welfare. Concentrated feed is largely used to bring about the rapid growth of the animals. In addition, drugs used in feed.

Studies show that the nutrient density in food was significantly higher 50 years ago than today.

Before we consumers buy the food in the shops, the products have been subjected to a lot of processing, storage and long transports. Each process leads to loss of nutritional value.

It has been documented that heat treatment leads to loss of vitamins and enzymes. Important nutrients such as Omega 3 are removed from food production to increase shelf life and avoid rancidity.

The nutrients we supply to the body are our fuel.

The body needs a supply of nutrients for all the processes in the body to function optimally. We also need a balanced supply of nutrients.

Disease generally occurs due to an imbalance in the body.

In addition to the fact that food no longer has the same nutritional value as before, we are today exposed to many environmental toxins and stressful situations that lead to an increased need for an extra supply of vitamins and minerals.

Illness, old age and the use of medication also lead to an increased need for nutrients. As we get older, it is extra important to ensure good nutrient uptake because the uptake into the body is not as good as before.

The sum of this means that we should be extra careful with our diet and that the food we eat is nutritious and varied.

As a dietitian, I would recommend everyone to eat as natural foods as possible. Avoid processed foods as much as possible. Vary your meals and use plenty of what comes from nature. Choose organic food when available.

On this page I would also recommend some supplements. I emphasize high quality natural products.

Information about the health food products I recommend can be found on the subpages of this page
